Lion Lessons by Jon Agee

A young boy, intent on becoming a lion, learns that it can happen in seven simple steps.  Even better, his teacher is a pro. From stretching to pouncing, roaring to sprinting, the boy gamely tackles lion lessons with an open mind and achieves varying levels of success. It’s his last lesson as a lion – looking out for your friends – that showcases a stellar message and allows the boy to shine.  A natural springboard for creative dramatics, sequencing, and research, this read-aloud is an early-elementary winner. (Ages 4-8)

One of the titles shared at Build a Better Collection, part of PSESD’s 2016 T-L Summit.
