Twitter? Yes! @LibrarianArika

So, after years of avoidance, I bit the bullet: I joined Twitter.

Why?  For yet another way to stay informed and to share information.  Twitter is quick, simple, short (!!) and has a huge following of librarians, publishers, library-related organizations, authors and illustrators.

Watching and reading what other amazing teacher-librarians are doing in their schools via the Twitter feed is flat-out inspiring.  I think we do great things in our library, too, and Twitter is a great way to showcase our hard work with photos, text, and Vine videos.  Twitter’s tag feature lets me instantly share with an author/illustrator how their books are impacting students, too.   Here’s to using technology to improve my teaching and to showcase the learning happening in our library!
